Falls City launched a Cure CF beer on September 4, 2017 at Commonwealth Tap in Norton Commons. Falls City has previously created unique brews for local sports teams and other organizations, but its nonprofit partnership with Cure CF is a first for the company. The Cure CF first batch was an American IPA brewed with fresh Valencia orange peel, dry sweet orange zest, and coriander. It’s dry hopped with perle and palisade hops for a flavor that combines a hoppy American IPA with a refreshing Belgian wit. The first round of kegs began pouring September 11th exclusively at several Norton Commons restaurants including Johnny Brusco’s, Citizen 7, and 502 Bar & Bistro, as well as Falls City’s brewery Over the 9, located on 10th street in Downtown Louisville. To date over 600 pints have been poured for a purpose.
